Susanna sings Hildegard / The Dream of Hildegard – Opening concert Lunalia // - Church of Our Lady across the river Dijle, Mechelen, Belgium

The opening concert of Lunalia is designed as a musical moon ritual. One of the evening features will be Susanna, who has long dreamed of exploring the world of Hildegard von Bingen. This dream becomes a reality in Mechelen, known as the carillon city, as Susanna combines her voice with the carillon. The performance is inspired by the visions of Hildegard von Bingen and enriched with echoes of Johann Sebastian Bach’s cantata “Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme” and dreamlike elements from Japanese Noh theatre.
